Efficiency Optimization via Mission Profile-Based Power Routing by Design of Hybrid Grid Connecting Converter Architecture

Hybrid grids with low voltage direct current (LVdc) distribution are an attractive opportunity for the integration of electric vehicle charging stations and photovoltaic power plants. With dc connectivity reduced losses possible, however, multiple conversion stages can impair efficient operation. A solution be use “interconnected” architecture that allows insulated ac grids. The reconfiguration this modular topology optimization different design objectives. This work investigates system efficiency-optimized reconfiguration. Two approaches deriving hybrid grid connecting converter based on mission profiles proposed. validation analysis via laboratory results is given.
